Wisdom teeth
When your wisdom teeth are in-growing or growing to the sideway, and they trigger huge sore in the mouth and throat.
You need to:
1) Go see a family doctor or dentist (with insurance ready)
2) Take antibiotic and effective analgesia
3) Eat only fluid diet (congee is the best in my opinion)
4) Call for sick and rest at home
5) Book an appointment with oral maxillofacial surgeon for consultation and extraction
Your desire will probably be:
1) KFC chicken
2) Anything that look and smell good in the food court
3) Good deep sleep (becoz you would wake up after a shooting pain caused by biting the affected area un-intentionally)

My Wisdom teeth have been brothering me for the longest time. . just don't have insurance to pay for the extraction yet. . . need to save up some money first.
From pass experience, I think wisdom teeth extraction is less painful than cavity fill in.
