More than just friends

Knowing couple of my friends who have troubles making friends at church, I want to share the following passage to you. It's taken from the book of "The Power of a Praying Woman".

"The main quality to look for in a close friend is not how attractice, talented, wealthy, smart, influential, clever, or popular they are. It's how much they love and fear God."

"But that doesn't mean we should have nothing to do with anyone who doesn't know the Lord... We are God's tool to reach others for His kindom. But our closest relationships, the ones that influence us the most, need to be with people who love and fear God. If you don't have close friends who are believers, pray for godly and desirable friends come into your life."

"Don't leave your relationships to chance. Pray for godly people to come into your life with whom you can connect. Don't force relationships to happen, pray for them to happen. Then when they do, nurture them with prayer. This doesn't mean you have to have large numbers of friends. There is great strength in small numbers when the people involved are strong in the Lord. The quality of your relationships is more important than the quantity."

Thanks my Lord giving me friends who really love and fear God. They are Jennifer, Jenny, and Janice. These are the ones who stay close, stand by and love me no matter what happens. And I realize that God bring even more friends to me day by day, such as Chung, Starry, Ah hoi, Chickita, Karen, Shanshan, Jac, Pecky, Angela, Maggie, Jason, Keith, Franklin, Daniel, and Lawrence... It's just not enough space for me to put all the names up.

I will work hard to become a person who love and fear God, becoz I want to be a desirable friend of yours too!!!
